Welcome to Blue-Plate Consulting’s new look website. After almost twenty years it was brought to our attention that our website needs a complete overhaul as it was no longer fit for purpose with inaccessible hidden gems. Not wishing to miss an opportunity, this new website explains why we exist, what we do, how we do it and the types of organisations that we work with. Our Mission is to make your strategy a reality through alleviating the internal bottlenecks. Typically, organisations are good at developing the strategy but the majority fail to carry it through because of poor execution. This a general problem across both the private and public sector and organisations of any size. Our consulting approach starts with challenging and understanding what the organisation is setting out to achieve. We can then move on to the current state, what needs to change and how to go about executing those changes without throwing the baby out with the bath water. It is important that this journey from the current to the future state inculcates an ongoing culture of strategy execution management and being open to new ideas and ways of working. Although our focus is predominately within financial services, the Mission page shows a crosssection of the organisations that we have worked with of all sizes and across all sectors. Being able to work across different business sectors highlights the commonality between them as well as the stark differences. Increasingly, regulatory compliance, managing stakeholder and customer expectations and good management practices are the themes that are common to all organisations.
